My name is Alexandra, though most just call me Alexis. I'm an avid designer, looking for some tips and like-minded friends willing to lend me a hand. I've been designing seriously for around a year now, and at 15, and almost certain that I'll be good enough to persue a career in it someday. I suppose saying that I love to design would be an understatement.

I'm interested in writing, aswell. My English teacher talks about 'unheard of talent', and 'natural writing ability beyond my years'... but until next year (when I can leave standardised year 9 English) I just see it as being convenient to get an extra A or two (;

I suppose I started a DeviantArt account so I could network. I've been lurking on the site for months now, looking in awe at all the amazing artists. While I may upload a few pieces of my own work, there is no way I could ever compete with the sheer brilliance of some Deviants. So I spose I'll just mostly give out ALOT of compliments!

Needless to say, the best show on television is without a doubt, Supernatural. No words can describe how much I love it. With it's work-of-art directing, producing, writing and (above all) ACTING, it astounds me every week, and makes me question whether it's possible to love anything more. I've been obsessed since the first minute of the first episode, and have never looked back. Jared and Jensen are the two most amazing actors, and I can't wait until next April, when I get to meet them. I spose this would be an awesome time to thank the girls who organised OzCon - you are set to make my lifetime!

I'm completely new to the site. So if I say anything wrong, or do anything that isn't right, please just let me know. I've read the rules, don't worry... it's just that with sites like these I've found that there are certain social practices that were developed by the members, not the creators of the site (: I would be more than happy to oblige if told something I do is less than admirable on here.
